We are reaching out to you today to promote our Undergraduate Health Science Enrichment Program (USHEP), which is a program for current high school senior students who are interested in pursuing a health career.


The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Office for Diversity (UNM HSC OfD) leads the flagship educational pipeline programs, entitled Hope, Enrichment, And Learning Transform Health in New Mexico (HEALTH NM).HEALTH NM comprises a series of highly integrated pipeline programs preparing underserved and underrepresented students for academic success and social readiness

to enter and graduate from a health professions program.

The Undergraduate Health Sciences Enrichment Program (UHSEP), for students entering their freshman year in college, is a rigorous yet very supportive five-week residential summer program designed to enhance academic preparation and facilitate entry into medical or allied health professions schools.
